For the Strawberry Basil Simple Syrup:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 6–8 fresh basil leaves
For the Strawberry Limoncello Fizz:
- 2 oz limoncello
- 2–3 fresh strawberries hulled
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz strawberry basil simple syrup
- 2–3 oz sparkling water
- Ice cubes
Instructions
Make the Strawberry Basil Simple Syrup:
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and strawberries.
- Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves and strawberries soften (8–10 minutes).
- Remove from heat and add basil leaves.
- Let steep for 15–20 minutes.
- Strain and allow to cool completely.
Make the Strawberry Limoncello Fizz:
- Muddle the strawberries in a shaker
- Add limoncello, lemon juice, and strawberry basil syrup
- Fill shaker with ice
- Shake gently to mix and chill
- Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice
- Top with sparkling water
- Stir gently and garnish

For best flavor, use real lemons
Store syrup in the fridge in an airtight container and coldest part of the fridge for up to 1 week
